Japan in California Sheet Music

"Little Japanesee Baby" tells the story of a baby boy in America and comes from the musical "By the Sad Sea Waves" produced at the Columbia Theatre.

A brand of Japanese tea is extolled in the waltz song "Blossom Tea" , words by R. D. Milne and music by R. L. Yanke.

"The Japan Waltz" was composed by S. H. Marsh in 1875 and dedicated to Lillie, eldest daughter of Charles De Long Esq., Envoy Extraordinary and Minister Plenipotentiary of the U.S. to Japan. Other than its dedication, it has no musical ties to Japan.
