This paper analyzed the digital video landscape focusing on Internet TV and Terrestrial broadcasters. It also analyzed the social and legal ecology around online video and made recommendations for firms and policymakers. My part primarily involved comparing and contrasting the business strategies of five Internet TV companies – Netflix, YouTube, Hulu, Joost and Brightcove.

Cultural differences in the use of IM, audio and groupware for equivocal task completion within global, virtual, corporate teams in India and USA

Although a lot of studies have been done on selection of media for virtual teams, a lot still needs to be done in understanding how cultural differences affect the use of CMC systems for geographically dispersed, virtual, corporate teams. This research proposal aimed to motivate the need for understanding cultural differences among members of such teams and discover how culture and media interact to shape perceptions about task performance, focusing on equivocal task completion for global, virtual, corporate teams based in America and India.
