Time-Series on Spirals

For cyclic data, use spirals.  Data with the same phase will be close together;
neighbouring data will be close together.

Use Archimedean spirals for equidistant rings.

Animate cycle length to discover cyclic behaviour in time series.

Display data on a helix; select a range by sliding a semitransparent cylinder.
