Sheet Music: A Window on 19th-Century California
A virtual library created through grants from the California
State Library (1997; 1999; 2000) and HUD's Joint Community Development
Program (1998); UCB research funds (2007). Images and descriptions are managed by the
Univ. of Calif., Berkeley, and are accessible through a Library search page as well as the Library's catalogue, OSKICAT and WorldCat. The sheetmusic is also searchable on this website through an SGML/
XML search engine Cheshire II that was programmed and is managed by Prof. Ray Larson.
