The Center for Document Engineering was established this summer by the School of Information Management and Systems (SIMS) and the E-Berkeley Program as a focal point for research, development, and educational activities that span the academic and operational sides of the university
Its mission is to invent, evaluate, and promote model-driven technologies and methods for business
The CDE will collaborate with campus computing units and industry leaders to ensure bi-directional technology transfer and relevance in research and graduate training
The CDE has a Director, two Associate Directors, an Advisory Board, an Entrepreneur-in-Residence, and both staff (paid by the CDE) and affiliated (not paid by the CDE) researchers
cde.berkeley.edu goes live today!
