Modern Craft
My research investigates how technologies encode our cultural histories by tracing the ways materials and technical skills intertwine. I am a Postdoctoral Fellow in STS at Stanford Univsersity. In fall 2013, I will join the UW's HCDE Department as an assistant professor. I hold a Ph.D. from UC Berkeley, an M.S. from U Chicago, and a B.F.A. from RISD.
