From airports:
From San Francisco Airport (SFO):
To get to the Berkeley Campus from SFO airport (about 25 miles) we
suggest using the BayPorter Shuttle: Go to the upper (departure) level
look for one of the shuttle stop and ASK for the BayPorter. There should be
a shuttle despatcher present to help you - else call 415-467 1800.
From Oakland Airport (OAK):
Oakland Airport is about 15 miles from the campus. We suggest taking the
BayPorter Shuttle. Public transport is feasible but slower: Oakland Airport
At the airport take the AirBart Shuttle to the Oakland Coliseum BART
station.
Board a Richmond bound BART train and get off at the Berkeley
Station.
Exit the Berkeley station at Center Street.
Walk east, uphill for half a mile until you reach the campanile.
South Hall is on your right and the Womens Faculty Club is to the
about 400 yards south east.
Accommodation: Workshop participants are responsible for
making and paying for their own accommodation.
We suggest
the Women's Faculty Club,
on campus, at $95.00 including breakfast.

for those who need it.

Reimbursements: Grant recipients should make their own
arrangements. They will be
reimbursed soon after the workshop
according to the terms sent to individual grantees by the Chemical Heritage
