  • The Pacific Telecommunication Council announced two special named awards for excellence in telecommunications research: The "O.S. Braunstein Prize" for best student research paper and the "Meheroo Jussawalla Research Paper Prize" for best overall participant research paper.       In honor of the Philadelphian who founded the local firms Braun Labs and Decor Bulbs Inc., the Honolulu-based Pacific Telecommunications Council has created an award to be presented to an outstanding telecommunications and information technology student.   • I have a continuing interest in technologies or all sorts—mechanical, digital, etc. As you can see from the photos above, this includes a variety of vehicles. Over the years I have owned (or leased) automobiles and motorcycles assembled in Austria (2), England, France, Germany (3), Italy (5), Japan (3), and Sweden as well as Missouri (St. Louis), Pennsylvania (New Stanton), South Carolina (Greer), and Wisconsin (Kenosha).
