Two piano arrangements of Meyerbeer's "Les Huguenots," Auger's "Manon Lescaut, Laughing Song," the overture of Boieldieu's "La Dame Blanche," and piano pieces "Les cloches du Monastere" by Lefebure-Wely and "La Priere d'une vierge" by Thecla Badarzewska.
A Fl. Muller wrote "La Fille de Madame Angot Quadrille". A song about "The Blue Alsatian Mountains" was written by Stephen Adams in the 1870s. "L'Alouette des Gaules: marche militaire dediee aux Lafayette Guard" was written by J. Carnaud, words by Pierre Cauwet, and published in the 1870s by H. Payot & Co., Libraires-Editeurs, 640 rue Washington, S.F.
Composer J. Ascher describes himself as "pianist honoraire de S. M. l'Imperatrice des Francais" on the cover of his "Mazurka des Traineaux" composee expres pour les bals de la cour, and dedicated to "son Ami Le Comte Olympe Aguado" (1827-1894, Strasbourg).
The comic opera "Le Petit duc" of Charles Lecocq was performed by Alice Oates' Comic Opera Company in San Francisco. The "Pages' Song" was printed in 1878 and went through at least 15 editions. An arrangement of several songs from the show was written by A. M. Gretchen and published in 1878.
